1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the GERMAN Catering website and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using our website or services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "you," or "your") and GERMAN Catering ("we," "us," or "our").
2. Services Offered
GERMAN Catering provides professional catering and event management services, including but not limited to:
- Wedding catering and reception services
- Corporate event catering
- Social gathering and party catering
- Religious function and ceremony catering
- Outdoor and on-site catering
- Event decoration and setup services
All services are subject to availability and may vary based on location, event size, and specific requirements.
3. Booking and Reservations
3.1 Booking Process
All catering bookings must be confirmed through our official communication channels (phone, email, WhatsApp, or website contact form). A booking is considered confirmed only upon:
- Mutual agreement on menu, services, date, and venue.
- Receipt of the required advance payment or deposit.
- Written or electronic confirmation from GERMAN Catering.
3.2 Advance Payment
A non-refundable advance payment (as specified at the time of booking) is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance must be paid as agreed upon prior to or on the day of the event, unless otherwise arranged in writing.
3.3 Guest Count
The final guest count must be confirmed at least 3-5 days before the event (as agreed upon during booking). Additional charges may apply for any increase in guest count after final confirmation. We do not provide refunds for a reduction in guest count after final confirmation.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Quotations
All quotations provided are valid for 15 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change based on market conditions, availability of ingredients, and scope of services requested.
4.2 Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Cash
- Bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS/UPI)
- Cheque (subject to clearance before the event date)
- Online payment platforms as communicated during booking
4.3 Additional Charges
Additional charges may apply for:
- Last-minute changes to the menu or guest count.
- Extended service hours beyond the agreed duration.
- Special equipment, decorations, or setup requests.
- Transportation to remote or difficult-to-access venues.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Client Cancellation
- More than 15 days before the event: Advance payment will be retained, but may be applied as credit toward a future booking within 6 months.
- 7–15 days before the event: 50% of the total quoted amount will be charged.
- Less than 7 days before the event: 100% of the total quoted amount will be charged.
5.2 Cancellation by GERMAN Catering
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the booking due to unforeseen circumstances (force majeure, natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.), we will provide a full refund of any payments made or offer to reschedule the event at a mutually agreeable date.
6. Menu and Dietary Requirements
- Menu selections must be finalized at least 7 days before the event.
- We accommodate vegetarian, non-vegetarian, and special dietary requirements. Please inform us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of booking.
- While we take all reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment. Clients are responsible for informing their guests about menu ingredients.
- Menu substitutions may occur due to seasonal availability of ingredients. We will notify you of any changes in advance.
7. Venue and Logistics
- The client is responsible for providing suitable venue access, including adequate kitchen/preparation area, electricity, water supply, and parking for our team.
- GERMAN Catering is not responsible for any venue-related issues, including but not limited to power outages, water supply disruptions, or venue access restrictions.
- Setup and cleanup timelines will be discussed and agreed upon during the booking process.
8. Food Safety and Quality
We adhere to strict food safety and hygiene standards in the preparation, handling, and serving of all food items. Our practices include:
- Use of fresh, high-quality ingredients from trusted suppliers.
- Proper food handling and temperature control during transport and service.
- Trained and hygiene-certified staff.
We are not liable for any adverse reactions resulting from undisclosed allergies, pre-existing medical conditions, or consumption of food beyond the service period.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, graphics, logos, and design elements, is the property of GERMAN Catering and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
- GERMAN Catering's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific event.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services or website.
- We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government orders, strikes, or transportation disruptions.
11. Client Responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when making a booking.
- Ensure the venue is accessible and suitable for catering operations.
- Communicate any changes, special requirements, or concerns in a timely manner.
- Make payments as per the agreed schedule.
- Treat our staff with respect and ensure a safe working environment.
12. Photography and Media
GERMAN Catering may photograph or record events for promotional and marketing purposes (e.g., website, social media, brochures). If you do not wish your event to be photographed or featured, please inform us in writing at least 7 days before the event.
13. Website Use
- The information on our website is provided for general informational purposes only. While we strive to keep content accurate and up-to-date, we make no warranties about the completeness or accuracy of information.
- You agree not to misuse our website, including attempting unauthorized access, introducing malicious software, or using the site for unlawful purposes.
- Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
14. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or our services:
- Both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through direct communication.
- If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the location of GERMAN Catering's registered business address.
15. Modifications to Terms
GERMAN Catering reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective upon posting on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
